When the time comes to buy your aftermarket seats, I highly suggest you go out and try (butt test) as many seats as you can before you buy. Seats are interesting animals. Seats from one manufacturer to the next manufacturer can feel quite different from one another but look very similar. Even seats of different models from the same company can feel totally different from one another. Local car shows can be a good way to try out a variety of seats to find one that works for (fits) you. Also remember, not all of us are little guys and some of us are built on the bigger, fluffier side of the spectrum (I'm 6' and 275 pounds). Seats should 'hug' you to a degree but not try to crush you as you sit in them. Fortunately, there are seats out there that are made a little wider for our bigger, wider (cough* backsides) err... frames. Make sure to check them out if possible. ---Just my two cents.

Just get a pro to upgrade your seats with more supportive cushioning and new upholstery and you'll get it cheaper and better. Or just buy some used seats from a sports car that has better seats.

Seats, on the other hand, my preference would be to find a seat I like cheap out of a wrecked car. A set of Recaro’s from a wrecked Evo or STI perhaps
